A foreign world in which water is the only currency faces a catastrophic alien invasion that threatens an extinction level event.

The scene begins with a black screen and the sound of running water coming from a faucet. The faucet abruptly shuts off, making a high-pitched squeak, and the screen fades to a TV screen with minor static. On the first channel, there is a smug-looking young adult talking on a stage at a conference. They are speaking about the benefits of making water the currency: “By making water our currency, we are making its distribution more efficient and accessible.”

The channel changes to the water financial news. There is a middle-aged man in business attire with his sleeves rolled up, speaking loudly about the best and worst water investments. He exclaims, “If you want the best return for your water, put it in Agua Fresh Inc.!”

The channel changes to another news channel showing the headline: “5th day of water-related unrest.” There is a live aerial view of thousands of people chanting in protest outside a large water bank. The thin scrolling banner at the bottom of the newscast reads: “The Adhara Space Union has detected strange signals coming from deep space.”

The scene changes from a TV screen to a panning scene moving right to left, showing different areas of the foreign world. First, we pass a large plaza surrounded by tall, egg-shaped, turquoise-colored buildings. We slowly pass and watch people with shopping bags gather around the large fountain in the center of the plaza.

The scene cuts, and now we are passing a run-down shopping center that has a large hovering sign that says, “Water for precious minerals.” We see a long line of people waiting to enter and shoving each other for a better position.

The scene cuts, and we are passing a large park with lush green grass and trees. There are children playing in an unnatural pond while the adults relax and enjoy iced beverages.

The scene cuts again, and we are going past a dry and barren field that has a makeshift well. A small group is standing around this well, desperately trying to pump water.

The scene cuts once more, and we are facing forward, moving through the crowd protesting at the water bank. As we move toward the front of the crowd, we hear angry shouts and see protesters holding signs with slogans on them. We reach the third row of the crowd, at the bottom of a tall glass building that shimmers with a blue color. Opposite the protesters, there are two rows of people in dark, metallic-blue armor, holding batons.

After a brief pause, we hear a shout, and the protesters and security forces charge each other as the camera slowly zooms out and rotates to an aerial point of view.

The camera continues to zoom out and gradually increases speed. We zoom out further, and we are able to see the landscape of this world: a patchwork of green circles scattered on a dry surface. As we continue to zoom out, we see the planet floating in space against a background of stars. We start to zoom out extremely fast until Adhara is just a white dot.

The camera stops zooming, and two large, beetle-shaped spacecraft start to come into frame, heading toward Adhara. Shortly after, hundreds of these spacecraft fill the scene. The scene abruptly cuts to black.
